I’m not sure which is worse, that someone invented this USB hub, or that I want one…

so Mayor Bloomie wants to start charging drivers $8 a day to enter (what everyone in brooklyn calls) the city (manhattan below 96th street). while i generally don’t think that this it’s the .gov’s job, i would like to propose a modest compromise that may help to ease congestion. bring back the motorcycle (and scooter for you hip kids) parking. it works pretty damn good in italia, and even frogland (or at least it did until the commies of paris started cracking down on 2 wheelers and implemented, suprise suprise, congestion taxes for the cages).
Jeebus H. Keerist on a flaming pogo stick. did someone put something in our water? Now some jagoff wants to ban spinny wheels? Shat’s next? A blanket ban on shiny objects?
And now, for your viewing pleasure. The object of the latest bit of retardation, the ban I mean, not the wheels ![]()
Walking in to the Cycleworld show, I had never even considered one of those expensive, gizmo-rific, yuppie BMWs.
Walking out, I knew I had to have the F650GS. I sat on it and I was hooked, friggin Germans and their goddamn great engineering.
So today I’m doing my homework, looking at reliability, pricing ($~8000USD. yes for the whole thing!) and reading boards by riders and modders when I came across this.
Paul “IceMan” Mondor is a F650 rider from Victoria, BC (that’s Canada for us Americans… you know that place up north where they talk funny) that (at the time) was inquiring about the possibility of doing a cross Canada trip on his F650.
Sounds easy right? How about in January?
Looks like I’m gonna need a fairly sizable loan…
The Royal Enfields are awesome, but for some reason, Triumph was missing from the event, WTF?
more to come…
Okay, so maybe the Lion beat me to it, but I’m off to the motorcycle show tomorrow.
If you’re attending look for me, I’ll be the guy drooling at the Royal Enfield booth.
